DRBD Disaster Recovery Clustering Using DRBD Proxy Version 4 on RHEL 9
This guide covers various common DRBD Proxy implementations. The first method uses DRBD Proxy in a newly configured 2-node DRBD cluster to replicate data to a single peer over a high latency WAN connection. This method is common for LINBIT customers looking for an application agnostic disaster recovery (DR) solution. The second method demonstrates adding a third off-site DR node, referred to as a “stacked node”, over top of a synchronously replicated DRBD device. This method is for customers who are already using DRBD for local high availability (HA), and want to add DR capabilities.
